I have two twin beds in large frames taking up about 1/4 of my bedroom space?

My parents won’t let me take one out because my sister that is leaving for college who used to sleep there will visit a lot and will sleep there. I’ve tried moving them together to make one, bigger bed for myself but the large, wooden bed frames make a big space between the mattresses.

I use to have the same problem, and fixed it. Just used to bring a lot of friends over, and they would sleep in the other bed if they crashed over. So my parents grew angry at the amount of friends I was bringing and how much they were sleeping over, that they removed it…problem solved.
