Statement
Joseph Fucigna is a multi-media sculptor who is
presently creating abstract constructions using colored plastic
fencing, netting and cable ties. Layers of plastic fencing and
colored cable ties are folded, hung, and bunched together to create
abstract forms which deal with issues of line, shape, texture
and color. The vibrant colors, rich textural surfaces and transformation
of common materials are the strengths of his work.
