Observational Work for landscape art GCSE?

I am doing the prep for my GCSE art exam and have chosen ‘landscapes’ as a topic. However I am struggling to think of ideas for observational work. I have taken photos but this is not enough, I need relevant drawings or paintings.

Get some inspiration by looking at the work of other artists, to see the vast variety of interpretations of this topic. Some names to ‘Google’. ….. Joseph Turner, John Constable, Ben Nicholson, Gillian Ayres, Paul Nash, David Tress, are all British artists, but French painters have loved this subject, including the Impressionists and Post Impressionists. Americans include John Marin, Edward Hopper, Georgia O’ keeffe, Andrew Wyeth, Charles Sheeler. As an artist, you just need to connect with work you really like and it can fuel your own imagination.
